The First Forró Workshop in Cornwall

We’re excited to launch Barefoot Forró Cornwall with our very first workshop, led by Filipe Abreu, a much-loved dancer from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Filipe has taught and inspired Forró communities around the world, and now he’ll be sharing his knowledge and energy with us in Falmouth.

This workshop is the first step in building a Forró community here in Cornwall. From this launch, we hope to meet regularly to dance and practise together, while inviting guest teachers and musicians to lead workshops and masterclasses.
